My experience with Lisa Jones was the best ever. She is an experienced, wise realtor who pays attention to the little things that make a home search and purchase a smooth process. I was doing a long-distance home purchase, and Lisa was clearly my proxy with the builder, with my inspector, etc. She was there taking care of my interests when I couldn’t get to the homesite in Florida. Lisa has an excellent, experienced eye and set of knowledge regarding home detail, and she caught a number of things that needed to be addressed prior to closing. Because I was new to the area, Lisa was also helpful in recommending insurance vendors, independent auditors, as well as things like places to eat and shop for necessary items. Lisa communicates frequently and in detail. She was on top of every aspect of the process, keeping me abreast of everything I needed to do. She was in contact with my lender, title company without me asking, and assured that everything between the parties was in place for closing. Our Broker Lisa did a great job in assisting on the sale of our property. We sold the property on an “As Is” basis and do feel we got a fair value for it. My wife and I were buying our first house and had no home buying experience. I had dealt with a few realtors shopping land in the past but I always felt a bit pressured like buying a car sometimes is. From the first call I never got that feeling from Lisa. She had a home listed and made herself available right away. Once there Lisa was informative but not stuck to us everywhere we walked. She gave us time to look around and talk. She gave her opinion on features both good and bad in the home. That I liked. It wasn’t just about the positive items being pushed on me. Now, Lisa did know the average amount of days a home would stay on the market in the area and would let’s us know. I watched the homes we liked closely and yep, she was right. They were gone right away. My wife and I agreed that we were not going to feel the pressure from the market. Lisa had no problem with that. She made list’s of homes week after week and plotted our course. Once we decided to build in a new neighborhood, she was on our side through the entire process. I would never attempt to go through this again without Lisa or someone of her level if not in Florida. She set the bar. Lisa didn’t let one thing slide with the builder. We were very comfortable with her at this point. I told her she was like a lil bulldog fighting for us. No nonsense. All negotiations were to benefit us. The builder was eager to get our deposit. She set up the home inspection and was usually the first to respond to group emails between herself, the builder, home inspector and us. All in all, Lisa made our first home purchase smooth and quite simple. Three months after and she still contacts us to see how we are enjoying the house. We started looking for a home in Florida while we were still in Rhode Island. Our daughter and son-in-law, who live in Clermont, recommended Lisa as our real estate agent.
